Green Goddess Smoothie

The start of a new week. A clean slate, new goals and new intentions. We are extremely motivated to make the best out of this week which includes a healthy start. But urgh, we are in a rush and forgot to meal prep yesterday. To avoid falling back into unhealthy habits, we have made this Green Goddess Smoothie recipe. This smoothie has everything you need to start your day healthy and greenish as this smoothie is full of veggies.

Mix the following ingredients in your blender into a smooth and thick smoothie
• A handful of spinach
• 1 frozen banana
• ½ avocado
• 1 scoop of Cabau Collagen Booster

Tip: If you would like to get in some protein, feel free to add one scoop of your favorite Cabau Whey Protein to your smoothie.

Cauliflower Smoothie Bowl

Cauliflower in a smoothie? Yes we know, this may sound weird, but let’s give it a try! Frozen cauliflower is a great way to sneak veggies into your smoothie and you won't even taste it. The frozen cauliflower gives your smoothie the perfect thick and creamy consistency. Simply blend together:

•200 ml unsweetened almond milk
• 1 scoop of your favourite Cabau protein
•1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice or chunks
• 1/2 Tbsp peanut butter
• 1 cup of frozen mango

Pour the ingredients into a bowl and add your favorite toppings. We love to add granola, pistachio and coconut flakes. Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Brownie Bites

These Brownie Bites are dangerously addictive and yet a much healthier option than your regular brownie (although we do also treat ourselves with these from time to time!). To make 10 to 15 healthy brownie bites, simply mix the following ingredients in a large bowl:

1 cup of peanut butter
½ cup of honey
2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 scoop of Cabau Chocolate Protein Powder
1 ½ cup oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips

Tip: If the mixture is too dry, add a little oat milk.

Roll your mixture into little balls and dip in some cacao powder. Now, your brownie bites will look like mini chocolate truffles! Place the brownie bites on a baking tray or plate and put in the fridge for 3 hours. Are you in a hurry or you simply can't wait? Just place the brownie bites in the freezer for 15 minutes. While you wait, drink the delicious Collagen Booster. Taking care of your skin, hair and nails has never been so easy, quick and, above all, delicious.

Tip (OK, this is definitely the last one): Make twice the amount of the mixture to have a little stash. You can store the bites in the freezer for up to three months or in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks. If you take them out of the freezer, let them defrost for a few minutes.

The perfect snack to take to school, work or at home while having your afternoon tea.

Protein Pancakes

Who doesn’t like pancakes? The fluffy warm texture makes us feel like kids again. We’ve created the perfect mixture to make baking pancakes the easiest thing to do. Blend 1 serving of the protein with 70 ml of the milk of your choice. Pour small amounts of the mixture in a slight greased pan. Be careful not to try to flip them before they’re baked on one side. To top your pancakes we’ve got a real easy topping for you. Add 1/2 cup of blueberries to a pan with a little water and let the berries soften. This will turn into a homemade sugar free syrup. If you do like a little extra sweetness, maple syrup is the answer. Bon appétit!

Protein Muffins with Protein Shake

Oh dear, you are in for a real treat. These delicious gooey muffins doesn’t taste as healthy as they actually are. A perfect way to sneak in your protein and giving into your sweet tooth cravings. This recipe makes 10 to 12 muffins. To make these muffins preheat your oven to 180o C / 400oF and blend the following ingredients together until smooth:

2 large brown bananas (save a 1/4 of one of the bananas for decoration)
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup honey
4 heaped tablespoons of the Cabau Whey Protein
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Lightly grease a standard muffin tin with a cooking oil of your choice and poor the mixture in. Top the muffins with a slice of the remaining banana. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until the muffins are set. Let the muffins cool and enjoy!

Fat Burner Green Tea Lemon

This drink kicks up your metabolism and helps to burn fat. To enjoy this you mix 1 cup of Fat Burner Green Tea Lemon with 250ml of water. It is best to enjoy this drink with a meal.

Vegan Protein Vanilla Bowl

A plant-based protein to fully enjoy the goodness earth has to offer. We’ve got a perfect breakfast or snack recipe to incorporate this protein into your day. Simply blend the following ingredients together until smooth:

1 big handful of spinach
1 frozen banana 1,5 cup of Cabau Vegan Protein Vanilla
200 to 300 ml of nutmilk of your choice (we used unsweetened almond milk).
Tip: add your milk gradually, you do want the smoothie consistency to be quite thick.

Serve this green bowl of goodness with some lovely toppings such as your favourite granola, nuts, goji berries or even fresh fruit.

Collagen Smoothie Bowl

In a high speed blender add:
1 + 1/2 cup frozen mixed Berries
1 banana, frozen
3/4 cup almond milk (add gradually)
1 scoop Cabau Collagen Booster
1 tbsp almond butter

Blend until smooth. You can top the smoothie bowl with your favourite toppings.
